Experiencing Fiction

Go down the rabbit hole with Alice; play quidditch with Harry Potter; float down the river with Huck Finn… If you could choose three fictional events or adventures to experience yourself, what would they be?

Fiction gives us a second chance that life denies us.‘ Paul Theroux said this and he was right. Who is that person who has never wished for something he saw or read from the media? Today fiction has become the pace of solace for writers like me. Imagine riding a 2nd Generation Lightcycle in Tron Arena or playing poker with James Bond in Casino Royale, every fictional event makes us yearn for something better from our daily mundane life.

So its obvious for a person like me, (who lives most of the time in fictional space), I have a long list of them. But the three top of the list are something very important ones for me. I will try my best to describe it.

  • Help Mr. Finch and John in their daily conquest in this digital age in Person of Interest.
  • Sail with Jack Sparrow in the Caribbean seas for the treasures.

And my personal top of the list…

  • Be a Batman and save Gotham from the evil villains.

Sure I have many others adventures to experience too but for now, I will go back to my imagination where I am helping Sherlock solve the case!
